Location & Access

Our Concord location is at 86 Baker Avenue Extension Suite 230, Concord, MA 01742. We also serve all of Massachusetts and can assist with transportation when needed to ensure you can access the care you need.

The name is short, memorable, and fun—reflecting our organization's focus on youth and family wellness. It's designed to be approachable and easy to remember for the young people and families we serve.

No, our services are available to all Massachusetts residents. We understand that transportation can be a barrier to treatment, so we offer transportation assistance to help ensure you can access the care you need. We also offer telehealth services for young adult day treatment, making it even easier to access care from anywhere in Massachusetts.

Programs

We offer full-day, half-day, and outpatient therapy programs for three age groups: Kids (ages 10–12), Teens (ages 13–17), and Young Adults (ages 18–25). Each program is tailored to meet the unique developmental and therapeutic needs of the age group.

Day treatment is appropriate for those who need help reintegrating after a higher level of care (such as residential treatment or hospitalisation) or who need additional support to maintain recovery and cope with mental health challenges while still living at home.

Insurance & Payment

We accept most commercial insurance plans. We also offer a sliding-scale fee structure for Medicaid clients to help make treatment accessible. Our team can help verify your coverage and assist with the insurance approval process.

Telehealth

Yes, telehealth day treatment is available for young adults. However, adolescents typically benefit most from in-person participation due to the social and interactive nature of group therapy.

School & Daily Life

Kids and adolescents in our full-day program receive 1 hour of academic tutoring daily. This helps students stay on track with their education while focusing on their recovery and mental health treatment.

No, Kiwi Recovery provides a continental breakfast and lunch for all full-day program participants. We believe that proper nutrition is an important part of the recovery process.

Family Involvement

Family involvement is strongly encouraged as it plays a vital role in the recovery process. Confidentiality and boundaries are discussed at intake to balance the client's autonomy with appropriate family support. We offer family therapy sessions and regular communication with families.
